While filming the SLIPs In The USA series, I kept a daily diary as I went. 

For 178 of backpacking across North America, I travelled between Portland Maine and Portland Oregon. With 360 pages of highs and lows, documenting my surroundings in 27 states, across more than 50 tourist railroads and museums. And while befriending many US Railfans, I learned to appreciate how diverse, adventurous, arduous and epic the American lifestyle can really be.
